Accessibility Statement
Last updated 18 September 2026
Pearl Care Training Academy is committed to making our website and platform accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technologies. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
Across this website we work to:
- use clear, semantic HTML structure and headings so screen readers can navigate the page;
- support keyboard navigation without a mouse;
- maintain strong colour contrast between text and background;
- provide text alternatives for meaningful images;
- use a responsive layout that works on phones, tablets and desktops;
- allow text to be resized without loss of content.
Known limitations
We are honest about where we are still improving. At present we are aware that:
- some decorative and AI-generated images may have brief alternative text that we are reviewing;
- captions and transcripts for platform video content are being expanded;
- any downloadable PDF documents may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers.
We are working to address these, and we prioritise fixes that affect the most people.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of mainstream browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox) and common assistive technologies. If you use an older browser or a specialist tool and something does not work, please tell us.
Reporting a problem and getting help
If you find an accessibility barrier, or you need information from this site in a different format, please contact us at hello@pearlcaretraining.com. Tell us the page and the problem, and we will respond within five working days and do our best to provide what you need.
Review
We review this statement regularly and update it as we make improvements. The date at the top shows when it was last reviewed.
