This notice explains how Pearl Care Training Academy collects, uses and protects personal data through this marketing website (pearlcaretraining.co.uk). Our learning platform at learn.pearlcaretraining.co.uk is covered by a separate privacy notice provided to account holders.
Who we are
Pearl Care Training Academy is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales (company number 17335265), registered office C/O Wim Accountants, 37 New North Road, Hainault, Ilford, IG6 2UE, United Kingdom. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office, registration ICO:00014763278. You can reach us about privacy at hello@pearlcaretraining.com.
What we collect
When you use the enquiry form on this website we collect the details you provide: your first name, last name, email address, organisation, enquiry type and message. Our hosting provider also processes limited technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the site securely and to prevent abuse.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, answer questions and, where you have asked, arrange a demonstration of the platform. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in responding to people who contact us about our services. We do not send marketing without your consent, and we do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months from our last contact with you, after which it is deleted, unless your enquiry leads to a contract, in which case the data is retained under our customer records for the duration of that relationship and as required by law.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of trusted providers who process personal data on our behalf under contract:

International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or Standard Contractual Clauses, so your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@pearlcaretraining.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
